DONT SAY MY NAME the movie

Don't Say My Name - an impactful film about child trafficking that has won praise globally and had over seven million viewers on YouTube in its first year - and the movie is in three languages, English, Spanish and Portuguese. The film was directed and produced by Federico Segarra and written by Patricia Landofi.

As a director, guiding the actors through each scene was indeed a challenge taking into account this very sensitive issue. I aimed to steer them towards radiating confidence and delivering their utmost performances, impeccably attuned to the scenes ambiance and the intricate subtleties of their characters, all inspired by real-life testimonies.

Our first project together, Jana, a gift from God in Spanish, and it was an extraordinary experience. We grew, saw God's hand in everything, and the project bore fruit. After this film went to theaters and festivals, one day during my devotional time, I felt in my heart that God was urging us to make a film about human trafficking.
